Dr Khalid Hussain

Consultant Dermatologist
MBBS, FRCP (UK)

I have extensive experience in treating patients with acne. Acne is one of the common skin conditions in adults. Some other facial dermatoses can mimic acne and therefore correct diagnosis is very important. Assessment of severity of acne is also very important in making the treatment decision in an individual patient. Acne may have a psychological impact on any patient, regardless of the severity or the grade of the disease; acne can significantly lower self-confidence. Scarring is a serious complication but fortunately can be prevented by timely treatment.
